Time took to complete: Oh I dunno, about BAJILLION hours?! lol
OK. One thing that clouded my judgement of this game until I thought
about it a bit more. And that was, WALKING EVERYWHERE. I know you can
buy things and set them down but if you set it down in the far east and
quest asks you to go far west it's not much use is it. I also absolutely
hated close to end you travel somewhere for the quest and the guy asks
"are you ready?", you say "yes" and the quest marker is now literally on
the other side of the map. Things like that just piss me off. Really
feels like developers trying to pan the hours out.
With that in my mind I was going to be very negative on the game but
then I looked back and realised what a great adventure it was! The base
for the game here is great and it is a very cool game.
But all I am thinking is, I want the sequel! Where everything is less
generic, MORE ENEMIES!, let us teleport at least to major towns please!
And better pawn battle system. Along with other things.
What is here though is very promising and I hope Capcom builds on it for years to come.
For this edition, it is a 7/10.
