This is how DLC should be done.
SP, new character that feels vastly different from the one you've played
in the main game, different way to combat the enemies that is pretty
awesome.
It's also always nice to get a new main menu screen as you do with this
DLC (different colour and Pigsy is standing where Trip did).
My main gripe that kinda ruined the fun was it did the "waves of
enemies" thing, which is perhaps my most hated mechanic in games, so I
had a couple of frustrating retries and when I beat these sections,
personally I get no satisfaction as it's a case of lazy unfairness on
the game's part, not rewarding challenge, IMO.
The way the story was told was changed too and was very cool, as was the music.
And it links into the main game's story in a way you probably wouldn't expect.
So yeah, great length, vastly different content which totally values another entry into this great game world.
A very good 7/10 for it.
