2011.25: Resistance 3

Completed on: Difficult [hard]- Time took: 5hrs21mins

Fantastic game. Nicely sized battlefields, good pace, smooth gameplay, gripping story, excellent damage system (loved the limbs flying everywhere), and it's just damn fun to shoot things. Can't ask for much more from an FPS.

It wasn't that hard on the Difficult setting except a couple of section near the end, but once you deploy the right tactic, even those weren't that hard and ultimately made the game better to realise how you play really matters.

Downsides would be, in my game the AI got a little weird near the end. I'm assuming they didn't have much time to test the levels near the end and AIs behaviour within them because a few times they walked right past me, and a few times they were just standing still staring at nothing.
Which was fine by me because one time they bugged out I had like 4 lights of health so I welcomed the broken AI lol.

Overall, one of the better FPSs this gen, it's great to play but overall, just falls short of being "wow epic!" for me, and the bad ending (IMO) added to that fall of quality.

Res1 would have got 9/10.
Res2 around 7/10.

So this is in between them, with an 8/10.
