2015.5 | ICO (HD)

Completed in 5hrs 25mins

A very solid and fun puzzle game with a nice companion aspect to add that icing on the cake. Really a classic gaming experience and it was a joy to experience it again in 1080p/60fps.

9/10.

2015.4 | The Order: 1886

Finished on HARD (no idea on time, guessing ~7hrs)

This is a very solid third person shooter with fun and satisfying combat. Blood splatters and bullet wounds on enemies and on yourself are superb, and the weapons sound and feel great. The AI is typical 3rd person AI but they have grenadiers and shotguners in the mix. good thing is they have different uniforms so you can position yourself and react to what kind of enemy is on the battlefield.

Story hasn't blown me away but was entertaining to follow (say, near the end it lost me a bit). It was definitely good enough to hold interest for the duration.

One big highlight is of course he graphics. The graphics really make it feel like an 'experience'. There were so many bits during gameplay you could mistake for a movie. Fantastic engine. Hope RAD builds more games on it.

Until then, this is a good start and a GOOD game for what it is,

6/10.

2015.3 | Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning

Completed in 46 Hours on HARD

This game wasn't anything spectacular in any way but it hooked me in a way I imagine a lot of people get hooked to an MMO game. The quest set-ups were interesting enough for me to want to do them and before I know it, I've completed over 60 side quests and played for hours upon hours.

It's one of those games that you've got to give about 3 hours and by that point it'll either completely grab you or bore you.

I thought it was a very good game,

7/10.
