2012.2: Dead Rising 2: Case Zero

Got Ending A (and can 200point it if I bother with it at some point, which I probably will)

Loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading, loading.
Worst loading ever, seriously. Gets really annoying too because gameplay has you constantly going back to your safe house and back out to town so it's like "oh man i don't want to because it'll load!" lol.

The town worked great. I was really immersed into the situation, dad and daughter make a pit stop in a town full of zombies, was all dandy. In fact it was so dandy, that I was wondering if me hating Dead Rising 2 the full game was a mistake. Then I kept playing this one and realised it wasn't.

Because as soon as side missions build up, or you got to do more, it's just annoying as shit. EVERYTHING! is timed in this game. EVERYTHING. And that's a mechanic I freakin' hate. Especially here because the game fools you in thinking it'll be a nice and fun zombie game, killing zombies with traffic cones and moose heads and whatever, but you are constantly in stress because of fucking time limits. Terrible design.

This wasn't that big a deal here as town was small-ish and there is never really TOO much you have to do but even here it was annoying enough.

Despite questionable game design, I did enjoy it. Weapons and killing zombies is fun, I also liked a couple of places here you had to do some climbing to get into. Really felt like a good zombie adventure in a couple of places. And when you get the broadsword, chopping up zombies to pieces is good fun.

Just tidy up how missions are done and this'll be an unbeatable zombie game for me but the current way of constantly loading and constant time limit stress is just way too freakin' annoying and distracts from the fun.

6/10.
