2012.34: Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit

If I gave feedback on games based on the first 20 or so mins, this would be an absolutely fantastic game. But obviously I don't. What that intro basically means is that its charm is not one of substance and wears off quick.

The mini games after boss kills can start to drag on and there is one (search and destroy) that is just a chore to do.

This is a minor point to make but one I feel I should is that sometimes backgrounds blend with the foreground and can get a bit confusing. But not often.

I rarely mention technical stuff of games (personally don't care to) but here there is a technical point that tinkered with the enjoyment of my experience with the game and that is 'hiccups'/pauses of a second or so ever few mins. It really broke the flow and depending on when it happens, might even cause you to die/lose health.

Wow, all negative so far. The good points are: Very stylised and sharp presentation. Even though it does wear off, still you can feel it was made with great love. It's a solid platformer.

The sequel hopefully comes and hopefully they improve/expand it in the right areas. For now though, this one gets a good,

6/10.
